My experience as a documentary film-maker and TV producer allowed me to travel the world and into the heartlands of Singapore, bearing witness to the resilience, courage and love shining through the lives of many who faced unimaginable challenges and immense sufferings.
As the brave souls opened their hearts and shared their life stories with me, knowing that they were listened to in a respectful space, they felt understood and healing happened.
I felt privileged to witness how the most brilliant light emerged from their darkest moments; deeply moved and in awe of how amazing the human spirit is.
Inspired, I began to ask: “Who Am I? What is the purpose of suffering? How can I create a life of purpose and passion?”
“Going Home to Your True Self” 3-Year Program in 2008 opened my eyes to look inward, to also see the brilliance and the light that I am. As I continue to deep dive into the inner exploration of my soul, I learnt that all the answers I have been seeking truly lie within me!
This in-depth journey of self-discovery, with the guidance of my facilitator and SIW teacher Tan Hwee Meng, is the most amazing and richest journey that helped me be who I am today: a tree that is growing stronger, taller and bigger. With roots extending deep into mother earth.
It is my joy and passion to journey with you, as a facilitator, to explore what is your soul’s longing, what makes your heart sing, what breaks your heart and what heals your heart.
